All CIT-compatible devices have a device profile. Device profiles include data such as the device’s factory menu, parameter defaults, firmware, and OS. Device profiles
have a .cdev
file extension.
Note: To obtain a device profile, contact your Curtis distributor or regional sales office.
All device profiles that have been added to a project are contained in the device profile library, which you can access by selecting Device » Device Profile Library in Launchpad. The device profile library allows you to preserve older versions of device profiles, delete profiles, and hide profiles from other CIT dialogs.
In the following example, the Model column indicates there are device profiles for two devices. The older (4.4.0.0.8) version of the 1226BL-4151 device’s profile is hidden:
